Sandwich Panel Production Equipment

Product Overview

The HF-RW-30M reference processes mineral-wool slabs through slitting, 90° orientation, adhesive application and heated lamination. PU edge foaming is a separately configured option. Mineral-wool core performance does not by itself classify the finished panel with adhesive, facings, joints and edge foam.

See the cleanroom panel manufacturing solution for a related mineral-wool configuration. The industrial PIR case is a different core route and is not evidence of rock-wool delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is polyurethane side sealing necessary for rock wool panels?
PU edge treatment is optional and depends on joint geometry and moisture requirements. It does not replace panel weathering, bond or fire tests.
How does the 90° fiber inversion unit work?
The slitter cuts rock wool slabs into strips, which are automatically flipped 90 degrees by guide tracks so the fiber orientation runs vertically between metal facings.
What is the maximum continuous line speed for rock wool panels?
Typically 8 to 10 m/min, primarily limited by the automated feeding and stacking speed of dense mineral wool slabs.
What adhesive is used to bond rock wool to steel skins?
We use a high-pressure dual-component polyurethane adhesive spray system that cures under heat inside the double belt.
