Underground Tunnel Polyurea Solution

A mobile dual-circuit package for primer application and two-component polyurea waterproofing, with configured surface-conditioning interfaces.

Production Line Planning

Seamless Elastomeric Defense for Subterranean Lifeline Infrastructure

A mobile dual-circuit package for primer application and two-component polyurea waterproofing, with configured surface-conditioning interfaces. The package covers the mobile spray chassis, infrared surface-conditioning module, separate primer and polyurea circuits, gun and controls. Generation and laser-guided scanning are optional. Coating and primer are supplied separately; lighting and drainage are customer interfaces. Site ventilation, exposure control and access arrangements are addressed separately from formulation solids content.

Mobile Dual-Circuit Package

The primer and polyurea circuits are separately configured on the specified mobile chassis.

Surface-Conditioning Interfaces

Preparation, drying and priming are selected for the substrate and coating supplier requirements.

Select the equipment, coating build-up and inspection plan against the substrate, part geometry, production target and site conditions. Material qualification and reported outcomes require project-specific records.

Manufacturing Workflow

Turnkey Underground Waterproofing Process

A configured sequence of substrate preparation, material conditioning, application, cure and inspection for the selected coating system.

01

Joint Preparation & Debris Evacuation

Concrete joints and walls are mechanically ground to remove laitance, followed by vacuum cleaning and installing backing rods in 20 mm expansion bevels.

SURFACE PROFILE CSP 3–5; JOINT BEVEL WIDTH 20 MM
02

Vehicle Infrared Flash-Drying

The specified surface-conditioning module is used within the substrate and primer supplier requirements. A single surface reading is not assumed to establish bulk dryness or adhesion suitability.

SURFACE MOISTURE < 6%; SURFACE TEMP 40–50°C
03

Medium-Pressure Capillary Primer Sealing

An airless priming circuit applies moisture-tolerant penetrating epoxy primer, sealing microscopic concrete pores to prevent subsequent outgassing.

PRIMER DRY FILM 70–90 µM; CURE TIME 10–15 MIN

Production Planning Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about Underground Tunnel Polyurea Solution, including material selection, equipment configuration and the information needed to plan a production line.

How is a tunnel waterproofing system selected? +
Coating, primer, joint detail, substrate preparation and reinforcement are selected as a complete system. Adhesion and water-tracking performance require the actual substrate and test conditions.
How is vehicle access confirmed? +
The supplied 1.75 m vehicle width is a reference. Tunnel turns, gradients, clearance, equipment obstructions and required access space must be checked in the site layout.
How are gel time, cure and readiness for water pressure separated? +
Gel, tack-free, handling and full-cure conditions are different milestones. Readiness for flooding, backfilling or hydrostatic testing is confirmed with the selected material and original cure/test procedure; a short gel time is not sufficient.
Does a high-solids formulation remove tunnel ventilation requirements? +
No. Spray exposure, site ventilation, access and any generator exhaust are addressed for the actual material and equipment arrangement. Solids content or a stated low-VOC formulation alone does not establish safe confined-space operation.
