Slurry Pump and Cyclone Liner Casting Solution

High-volume CPU metering, an extended dispensing boom and configured centrifugal tooling for mineral-processing pump and cyclone liners.

Production Line Planning

Extreme Abrasive Slurry Protection for Mining Wet-End Components

High-volume CPU metering, an extended dispensing boom and configured centrifugal tooling for mineral-processing pump and cyclone liners. The package covers material preparation, high-volume metering, an extended servo dispensing arm, the specified centrifugal station and controls. Hydraulic mold handling and heated curing equipment are optional. Chemicals are supplied separately; lifting equipment and compressed air are customer interfaces. Tooling mass, imbalance and permitted speed are confirmed together.

Configured Centrifugal Tooling

Station load, tooling balance and permitted rotational speed are agreed for the actual liner geometry.

Extended Dispensing Boom

The supplied 2.2 m reach is a positioning envelope; filling trajectories are developed for the tool.

The equipment package is selected against finished-part geometry, material, output target and factory interfaces. Material properties, life comparisons and inspection results require project-specific test records.

Manufacturing Workflow

Turnkey Centrifugal Volute Liner Casting Process

A synchronized, heavy-duty industrial sequence from raw monomer degassing to demolded elastomeric pump volute liners.

01

Thermal Oil Conditioning & High-Vacuum Degassing

NDI prepolymers and polyols are heated to 125°C under continuous thermal oil circulation and degassed below 0.05 kPa to strip entrained moisture and micro-air.

TANK VACUUM ≤ 0.05 KPA; TEMP 125°C ± 0.5°C
02

Tool Clamping & Dynamic Counterbalance Calibration

The heated tool is secured on the configured station. Combined mold/part load, eccentricity, balancing and rated speed are verified for the actual tool before defining the casting sequence.

SUPPLIED TOOL-TEMPERATURE REFERENCE 110°C; OPERATING SPEED CONFIRMED FOR ACTUAL TOOLING AND LOAD
03

High-Volume Closed-Loop Servo Metering

High-displacement gear pumps meter components into lines under Coriolis mass flow feedback, delivering discharge rates up to 25.0 kg/min with ratio accuracy within ±0.2%.

FLOW OUTPUT UP TO 25.0 KG/MIN; RATIO ACCURACY ±0.2%

Engineering Considerations

Core Advantages of Haifeng Centrifugal Slurry Systems

Configured process controls and engineering interfaces for the selected equipment package.

Configured Centrifugal Tooling

Station load, tooling balance and permitted rotational speed are agreed for the actual liner geometry.

Extended Dispensing Boom

The supplied 2.2 m reach is a positioning envelope; filling trajectories are developed for the tool.

High-Volume Metering

The supplied output range is 4–25 kg/min. The filling window must also match part mass and formulation gel time.

Material-Specific Heating

Feed and mold heating are selected for the chosen prepolymer and curative system.

Production Planning Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about Slurry Pump & Cyclone Liner Casting Solution, including material selection, equipment configuration and the information needed to plan a production line.

When is centrifugal tooling considered for pump liners? +
Centrifugal tooling is a configured option for suitable liner geometries. It is not a universal requirement or guarantee of zero voids; filling and internal quality require process trials and inspection.
How are boom trajectory and the filling window established? +
The dispensing boom follows the developed tooling trajectory. Shot mass, flow profile and formulation gel time must be reconciled; 380 kg cannot be filled in 14 minutes at a 25 kg/min maximum.
How is the liner material selected for slurry conditions? +
Material choice depends on the slurry chemistry, particle size, temperature and erosion mechanism. The submitted 3.2× life comparison is a project claim requiring its original operating period and wear records.
How are tooling load, balancing and rotational speed matched? +
Combined mold/part mass, eccentricity and balancing determine the permitted speed. Maximum load and maximum RPM are separate configuration limits and are not assumed to apply simultaneously.
