A leading national cold chain logistics infrastructure group in Central China deployed Haifeng’s high-lift mobile hydraulic spray equipment to insulate the external concrete walls and space-frame roof of a 100,000-ton national logistics storage hub. The project covered 85,000 m² of exterior surfaces reaching elevations up to 42 meters.
The extreme building height presented severe challenges for conventional pneumatic spray units. Standard units lost over 50% of fluid pressure at elevations above 20 meters, forcing crews to crane chemical drums and compressors onto suspended scaffolding, which created grave safety risks and limited single-machine production to just 800 m²/day. Pressure variations also produced low foam densities and poor compressive strengths (under 120 kPa), leaving irregular surface ridges exceeding 18 mm.
Haifeng supplied two truck-mounted HF-SPR60-MOB hydraulic high-lift spraying systems. Stationed at ground level, the rigs pumped chemicals vertically up 45 meters through 60-meter heated umbilical lines at 17.5 MPa. The operation achieved over 2,500 m² of daily coverage per rig, delivering seamless 150 mm thick insulation with compressive strengths reaching 185 kPa and surface flatness within 4.5 mm.
Review point: Vertical lift, hose length and gun pressure require a complete loss calculation; hydraulic drive does not eliminate hydrostatic or friction losses. Coverage requires thickness, density, material use, overspray and actual spraying duty. A 2,550 m²/day area at 150 mm thickness is 382.5 m³/day before overspray; reconcile this with 14 kg/min maximum output and the supplied foam density. Foam fire classification and installation acceptance are separate from equipment delivery.

Solutions Delivery
Configuration reported in the supplied brief.
Haifeng engineered an agile, ground-based mobile spraying package mounted directly onto commercial flatbed trucks. The 42-meter-tall concrete walls were cleared of dust and rolled with a polyurethane bonding primer.
Two mobile HF-SPR60-MOB rigs drew polyol and polymeric isocyanates directly from 200 L drums on the truck beds. Coaxial hydraulic proportioning cylinders maintained non-pulsing fluid delivery at 17.5 MPa. Chemical streams passed through 18 kW primary heaters and were routed vertically up scaffolding via 60-meter copper-mesh heated hoses, maintaining fluid temperatures at 50°C right at the spray gun nozzles.
Operators working from motorized cherry-picker platforms applied the fast-reacting foam in four progressive 35–40 mm passes, building a monolithic 150 mm thick envelope. The foam set within 6 seconds, preventing sagging on vertical walls. The continuous seamless barrier decoupled the building structure from exterior ambient heat, while surface scraping tools held flatness variations strictly within 4.5 mm.
