Low-Pressure PU Foaming Machine for Automotive Dashboard & Interior Molding

Product Overview

Specially optimized for automotive interior precision molding, with closed-loop flow control and three independent temperature control systems to deliver high-quality, odorless and consistently stable dashboard products for standardized mass production.

The HF-LPM-1A1B-A is specially designed to solve bubble defects, surface cracking, batch color difference, and unstable physical properties in PU dashboard production. Closed-loop flow control with a Coriolis mass flowmeter and PLC-adjusted servo dynamic pressure compensation eliminates ratio drift, greatly reducing reject rate with precise dimensional consistency. Three independent temperature control units cover raw material tanks, metering pipelines, and the mixing head, ensuring stable material temperature throughout the process and eliminating batch color difference and property fluctuation. Full PLC automation with touch screen HMI enables one-click formula recall during mold change, eliminating manual errors. The modular design allows flexible integration with existing lines and future upgrades. Finished products combine high strength, light weight, flexibility, and impact toughness, with solvent-free cleaning complying with automotive interior environmental standards.

Operation Workflow

Raw Material Preparation & Tank Loading

Load polyol and isocyanate into the 250L standard tanks. Set the three independent temperature control units (tanks, pipelines, mixing head) to the required process temperatures.

Formula Selection & Parameter Setting

Select the appropriate formula from the PLC touch screen for the specific dashboard model. Each mold’s pouring parameters are stored as independent formulas for one‑click recall.

Closed‑Loop Flow Control & Metering

The Coriolis mass flowmeter monitors flow in real time while the PLC adjusts servo motor speed for dynamic pressure compensation, maintaining ratio accuracy within ±0.3% and eliminating drift.

Mixing, Pouring & Molding

The mixing head operates at 3500–6000 rpm for homogeneous blending. Output flow of 250–670 g/s is injected into the dashboard mold. Temperature stability ensures consistent cream time, gel time and foam microstructure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What automotive interior components can this machine produce?
This machine is designed for automotive dashboards, steering wheels, door interior trim panels, seats, armrests, headrests, sound insulation cotton, and trunk mats for both passenger and commercial vehicles.
How does closed‑loop flow control improve product quality?
Traditional open‑loop systems suffer from viscosity drop and flow drift as temperature rises, causing micro bubbles and surface cracking. This machine uses a Coriolis mass flowmeter for real‑time monitoring with PLC‑adjusted servo dynamic compensation, fundamentally eliminating ratio drift and greatly reducing reject rate.
Why are three independent temperature control units important?
PU foaming is highly sensitive to temperature; tiny fluctuations change cream time, gel time and foam microstructure. Three units cover tanks, pipelines and mixing head, ensuring stable temperature regardless of seasonal changes, completely eliminating batch color difference and property fluctuation.
How does the machine support flexible production line integration?
The modular design allows flexible adjustment of tank volume, mixing head cantilever or manipulator position. Modules can be disassembled and relocated independently during workshop layout adjustments, preserving flexibility for future line upgrades.
Is the machine compatible with automated production lines?
Yes. The machine can be integrated into rotary or annular production lines for continuous automated manufacturing. Full PLC automation with one‑click formula recall enables efficient mold changeovers.
What after‑sales support and warranty are provided?
We offer a 1‑year warranty covering all core components, overseas engineer on‑site installation and commissioning, operator training, lifetime remote technical support, and fast global supply of original spare parts.
