High-strength epoxy pouring solution for large-scale wind blade production

Product Overview

Specially designed for epoxy resin pouring of wind turbine blades, suitable for 1.5MW~10MW wind blades. Used for resin pouring of key parts such as blade shell, web and root.

This epoxy pouring system is purpose-built for the large-scale production of wind turbine blades ranging from 1.5MW to 10MW. The 2A2B two-component system includes a dedicated reinforcing additive tank, compatible with glass fiber and carbon fiber fillers. Blade tensile strength reaches ≥350MPa and flexural strength ≥500MPa, providing excellent fatigue resistance suitable for high-load wind power working conditions. The large-flow stable pouring capability (200–3000 g/s) is ideal for 10–80m large-size blade molds, ensuring full filling without bubbles and uniform infiltration of resin and reinforcing materials to improve blade structural strength. The system is compatible with amine and anhydride dual curing agents: amine for room temperature rapid pouring, anhydride for high-temperature high-strength molding, enabling flexible process switching. Precise temperature control and metering ensure uniform curing without deformation, and the machine can run continuously for 24 hours to meet mass production needs. The system meets the core requirements of high strength, weather resistance, fatigue resistance and porosity-free for wind blades, capable of withstanding harsh outdoor conditions such as high/low temperature, strong wind and ultraviolet radiation for a long time, ensuring blade operation stability and service life, and adapting to large-scale standardized production in the wind power industry.

Operation Workflow

Resin, Curing Agent & Additive Preparation

Prepare epoxy resin and curing agent (amine or anhydride) according to the target mix ratio (100:20~30). Select appropriate reinforcing fillers (glass fiber or carbon fiber) and load into the dedicated reinforcing additive tank.

Tank Loading & Temperature Setting

Load epoxy resin into Tank A and curing agent into Tank B. Set Tank A temperature to 40–85°C, and Tank B to 30–60°C based on the selected curing agent system.

High-Vacuum Defoaming

Activate the high-configuration vacuum defoaming system to achieve vacuum level ≤-0.098MPa, thoroughly removing bubbles to ensure porosity-free resin infiltration and optimal blade structural strength.

Large-Flow Metering, Mixing & Pouring

The PLC-controlled dynamic metering system (accuracy ≤±0.5% full range) dispenses materials precisely. The mixing head operates at 5000–9000 r/min for homogeneous blending. The large-flow pouring rate (200–3000 g/s) ensures full filling of 10–80m large-size blade molds with uniform resin infiltration.
