Haifeng successfully commissioned a versatile continuous sandwich panel manufacturing line for a premier modular building manufacturer in Morocco, supporting rapid-deployment housing across North Africa and the Middle East. The supplied brief describes snap-joint panels and a PU dispensing/double-belt configuration. Mineral-wool production, where selected, needs separately documented feeding and adhesive modules; it is not established by the listed PU equipment alone.

Prior to commissioning, the customer utilized imported flat sheets and assembled camp walls on site using manual screws and trim covers. This process was labor-intensive, suffered from dust penetration in desert conditions, and delayed emergency camp handover. The client required an automated, versatile line capable of manufacturing corrugated container wall panels with integrated snap-lock edges, high wind load resistance, and pre-embedded conduit paths.

Operational since November 2022 on a continuous two-shift daily schedule across a 1,400 m² workshop, the installation provides reliable output of 2,800 m² of structural insulated panels per shift. By deploying Haifeng's synchronized high-pressure oscillating dispensing and heavy-duty 24m double-belt lamination, the client manufactures rugged, desert-proof precast housing panels for the specified modular-building design.

Solutions Delivery

Haifeng delivered a versatile, high-capacity sandwich panel production line engineered to manufacture rapid-assembly wall and roof panels for prefabricated modular buildings and container housing:

1. Dual-Cassette Structural Roll Forming: Roll forming stations cold-roll high-strength galvanized steel into interlocking snap-joint wall profiles and deep-corrugated roof panels, accommodating automated fastener concealment.
2. Flexible High-Pressure Polyurethane Dispensing: Multi-component metering units inject fast-curing polyurethane foam via an oscillating dispensing bridge, ensuring even distribution across moving steel profiles.
3. Continuous Double-Belt Curing: A 24-meter heated double-belt caterpillar maintains steady hydraulic pressure at 65°C, ensuring high shear strength and uniform bonding between steel facings and the core.
4. Embedded Conduit & Joint Integration: The line coordinates with manual/semi-automated stations for embedding PVC electrical conduits and steel structural attachment plates before foaming.
5. Synchronous Cutting & Automated Stacking: Flying circular saws cut panels to programmed transport lengths (up to 12m), feeding an automated vacuum stacker that compiles neat shipping pallets.
