Haifeng successfully commissioned an in-situ high-pressure spray polyurethane foam insulation system for a premier seafood cold storage contractor in Morocco, achieving 35% refrigeration energy savings across an 18,000 m² processing facility while completely eliminating joint frost build-up. The turnkey project covered the complete delivery of a high-pressure hydraulic proportioner, 75 meters of multi-zone heated delivery line, pneumatic transfer pumps, and self-cleaning airless spray guns.

Prior to commissioning, the contractor experienced persistent thermal efficiency failures using standard pre-fabricated cold room panels in coastal port environments. High marine humidity drove water vapor through panel joint seams, causing thick ice buildup, rotting corner wall gaskets, and straining compressor systems. The client required an industrial in-situ chemical spraying setup capable of atomizing fast-curing polyurethane formulations directly onto concrete and masonry walls, locking the volumetric ratio at 1:1, and creating a continuous 120mm closed-cell thermal barrier across ceilings, wall corners, and structural columns.

Operating across multiple cold rooms on a single-shift daily schedule, the application team completed up to 900 m² daily. By deploying Haifeng's closed-loop Ratio Lock flow controls and high-velocity impingement guns, the contractor produced a jointless, impermeable insulation shell that keeps seafood cold rooms operating at -18°C with zero frost infiltration.

Solutions Delivery

Haifeng deployed an industrial high-pressure spray platform engineered for high-humidity coastal cold store facilities:

1. Hydraulic Ratio Lock Proportioning: High-pressure hydraulic cylinders deliver chemicals at 165 bar, preventing fluid pressure imbalances during overhead ceiling spray operations.
2. Multi-Zone Heated Hose Delivery: Insulated delivery hoses maintain chemical temperatures at 52°C (±1.0°C) across runs up to 75 meters inside the warehouse.
3. Airless Impingement Spray Guns: Mechanical purge impingement guns atomize formulated chemicals into a wide, uniform fan pattern, solidifying into hard closed-cell foam in 4 seconds.
4. Hygienic Protective Topcoat: After foam curing, a washable, food-grade polyurea finish was applied over walls to allow high-pressure washdowns during daily seafood processing.

Installation and commissioning: 15 days. Operator training: 3 days. Machine warranty: 1 year. Long-term spare parts and remote equipment support are available.
