Diesel-powered two-component spray equipment with heated delivery and configured elevation interfaces for a selected marine steel coating system.

The package covers a diesel-powered hydraulic spray skid, heated hoses, the specified gun and pressure-relief interfaces, and controls. Enclosure and access-platform accessories are optional. Coating materials are supplied separately; blasting equipment and fuel are customer interfaces. Hazardous-area suitability, generator placement, load and delivery configuration require project-specific documentation.

Autonomous Heavy Coating for Offshore Bridges & Marine Steel

Material Flow and Working Principle

Autonomous Power & Pneumatic Supply

The integrated diesel engine drives an onboard 40 kW generator and heavy screw compressor, providing autonomous three-phase electricity and clean dry compressed air without site umbilical lines.

High-Efficiency Instant Chemical Heating

Chemicals are pumped from 200 L drums through multi-stage cast-aluminum instant heaters, bringing components to 65–75°C to lower viscosities for high-pressure impingement.

High-Elevation Hydraulic Pumping

Heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders displace fluids at a fixed 1:1 volumetric ratio, maintaining 21 MPa pressure across 90-meter hose runs to reach bridge box girders.

High-Pressure Impingement Hot Spraying

Materials collide within the mechanical-purge spray gun at 120 m/s, instantly atomizing onto grit-blasted steel (Sa 2.5) to build a seamless 2.0 mm elastomeric protective barrier.

Auto-Relief Safety & Mechanical Purge

An automated pressure-dump valve vents fluid within 3 seconds if tip blockage occurs, while the gun's mechanical cleanout rod prevents internal curing without solvents.

Equipment configuration

Key Equipment Features

The package covers a diesel-powered hydraulic spray skid, heated hoses, the specified gun and pressure-relief interfaces, and controls. Enclosure and access-platform accessories are optional. Coating materials are supplied separately; blasting equipment and fuel are customer interfaces. Hazardous-area suitability, generator placement, load and delivery configuration require project-specific documentation.

Onboard Power Interface

The specified diesel/generator package is matched to the complete electrical load and site placement.

Elevated Delivery Configuration

Total hose length is separate from vertical lift; gun-end pressure and temperature require operating records.

Configured Pressure Controls

Relief, hoses and controls are selected and verified as a complete system; response claims require original tests.

Material-System Qualification

Salt-spray and UV performance belong to the selected primer, membrane and topcoat system, not the spray machine alone.

Planning questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How are onboard power and elevated spraying configured?
The stated generator output, hose length and vertical lift are separate configuration references. Verify full electrical load, placement, temperature and gun-end pressure for the actual work location.
How are humidity and surface conditions handled?
Application suitability depends on the substrate condition, coating supplier limits, ambient conditions and the validated process. Fast gel time alone does not establish compatibility with high humidity or a wet substrate.
What establishes hazardous-area and pressure-control suitability?
Suitability requires the actual equipment configuration, certificates where applicable, hose/component ratings and validated control interfaces. The supplied brief does not include original certification or relief-response records.
Do accelerated corrosion tests predict coating service life?
Salt-spray and accelerated UV results characterize a defined test system. They are not a direct conversion into years of service or a universal durability guarantee; original coating and specimen records are required.
