TPU Material Preparation and Transfer Solution

Concept illustration · Configuration varies

Plan material preparation vessels, metering and mixing interfaces, and downstream transfer for a TPU production application. Define the configuration with Haifeng.

Chemical Processing

TPU Material Preparation and Transfer Solution

Prepare and deliver the specified raw materials to a receiving TPU process. The scope can coordinate agitated vessels, material conditioning, metering interfaces and feed/return connections; it does not by itself include a complete polymerization and extrusion plant.

Vessels

Material compatibility, agitation and process conditioning requirements

Equipment scope, material conditions, commissioning milestones and acceptance criteria are agreed for each project.

Material Preparation and Production Interfaces

The stages below describe the functional route. The supplied equipment, operating sequence and control states are defined for the selected formulation and receiving process.

01

Confirm raw-material conditions

Obtain the material owner’s requirements for compatibility, moisture, temperature and storage. Define which conditioning duties are included.

MATERIAL-SPECIFIC PREPARATION CRITERIA
02

Prepare the supply vessels

Configure vessel materials, agitation and the agreed conditioning circuit for each selected feed.

Selection Conditions and Delivery Boundaries

Use these conditions to define the configuration and acceptance method. Capacity, dosing tolerance and product acceptance are specified for the selected application.

Selection areaRequired conditionsScope distinction
Material conditionUse the formulation owner’s moisture and temperature requirements. No universal drying schedule or material target is assigned.
Vessel preparationConfirm compatible contact materials, agitation and conditioning duties.Different feeds may require different arrangements.
Metering boundaryIdentify the supplied measurement/control equipment and receiving equipment.Preparation equipment alone does not establish polymerization performance.
Feed and returnDocument normal supply, return, hold and stop states.Interface responsibilities are agreed with the downstream supplier.

Application-Specific FAQ

Clarify the process boundary, material requirements and receiving interfaces.

Does this solution include a complete TPU production plant? +
This page covers raw-material preparation and feed interfaces. Polymerization, reactive extrusion, pelletizing and downstream processing must be separately listed if required.
Are the same preparation temperatures suitable for every TPU formulation? +
No. Use the material owner’s storage and processing instructions. Conditioning temperature and moisture criteria are specific to the selected feed and receiving process.
Why must feed and return paths be defined together? +
The receiving process may have different startup, production, hold and stop requirements. Connection routing and control responsibilities must support the agreed operating states.
What should the receiving equipment supplier provide? +
Connection details, required feed conditions, metering boundaries, control signals and startup/shutdown requirements are needed to agree the integrated interface.
