Industry Reference: Source and Application
Illustration notice. Process illustrations are not verified photographs of this installation.
Industry application reference based on public sources. This is not a Haifeng customer delivery record.
Publicly documented application
The public equipment description identifies linear TPU as a reactive twin-screw extrusion application and includes underwater pelletizing among the downstream equipment offerings.
Evidence scope
Equipment-supplier process description; no named plant capacity or Haifeng delivery
Source and date
Published chemical reaction processes via twin-screw extrusion
Publication date not stated; accessed 3 October 2026
Planning implications for a new line
For a Haifeng proposal, first distinguish direct one-step feeding from a separate prepolymer/two-step route. Review the multi-component metering interface, reaction equipment, heat removal, melt transfer, water-loop pelletizing and drying. The published example does not establish that all TPU grades require a casting stage before extrusion, or that one reaction arrangement suits every formulation.
Names identifying the end user and contractor are omitted in this summary. Source attribution remains visible. Machine counts, delivery dates, factory location and training/warranty details are left unspecified unless this page expressly reports them from the source.
Published Process Configuration
Reaction feeding, twin-screw reactive extrusion and downstream pelletizing. This describes the public reference architecture, not equipment supplied by Haifeng. The proposed Haifeng configuration is determined separately from the production brief.
