PU Automobile Carpet Foaming Line Upgrade in Baoding
Project Background Located in an automotive interior industrial park in Baoding, Hebei Province, the customer is a manufacturer specializing in automobile carpets and interior parts, producing about 31,000 sets of carpets per year with revenue of about RMB 65 million in 2025. Challenges Manual metering and pouring caused a defect rate of 10%–12%, uneven density and poor traceability, which blocked high-end OEM orders. Haifeng Solution The customer adopted the Haifeng turnkey PU automobile carpet foaming line, integrating a high-pressure foaming machine, carpet molding machines, a pouring robot system, a hydraulic unit, a vacuum pump unit and an electrical control system. Results Per-line capacity rose from about 105 to 145 sets/day (approximately 38.1%), defect rate fell to ≤2%, manpower dropped from 14 to 5, with annual savings of about RMB 1.96 million and a payback period of about 2.2 years.
